Is this possible?
my friend drives a 88 bonnie and he had a bad coil pack, and he replaced it,however he put wire 4/6 backwards, and the engine was sputerring, and then we put it back the right way,and now hes car still sputteres, and the new coil pack is defintly the culprit!..cause i put it in my car and it did the same thing.
is there a chance when he screwed up the wiring, that he damaged a spark plug or something?

I'm not sure he did (could do) any damage.... but it'* always possible that something new is broke right out of the box. However saying that... putting the wires on wrong can't be good.

I have a stock coil and module that came from my 89 SSE if you'd be interested. Worked great--wasn't the problem--turned out it was something different.

Are the 4/6 wires on the same coil? If so, It doesn't matter, The cars uses a waste spark method.
If they're not, be nicer and check things closer next time eh? The engine is pretty resilient but it'* still just metal. If you ran it for under a minute, I doubt there will be any problems. If you let it idle while you figured out what was wrong, That was a bad idea, Don't do it again.

what if you have misfiring for many miles, and you didn't get it fixed for quite some time, it could cause engine damage? This never happened to me, I just want to leanr as much as I can.. because I want to be smart, instead of think I am smart.

heh, Backfires and the like put alot of stress on the timing system, and on cars with them, the distributor gears too. Depending on how many times the engine is jerked around by it'* heart, it can get bad.
