Captain: The problem with our paint, is the clearcoat is coming off. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do anymore. The best thing as far as cosmetics we can do, is wet sand the clear off the affected areas. Then polish with a med-highly abrasive polish on a buffer. Then there is this polish, that puts a layer of something on the car.. it'* super cool. I can't remember the name, but Bill [willwren] recommended it.

Technically, repin all places are like that. Prep-work is what determines the final outcome, and is 90% of the work. If you are going to do all the prep work yourself, you could go to a local body shop, and get them to just spray it pretty cheap. Prep work is the main contributor to cost. Personally, I wouldn't let anyone but myself do it. After a little practice of course.

Trouble with the T-type (also used on the Reatta) rims is that they are only 15x6. I really like the 16x7 crosslaced on our car (silver since gold only came on SSEs. Those going after other wheels should note that the factory 16x7 has a 46 mm offset. 225x60x16s on a 38 mm offset wheel will come very close to the fender liners at full lock.
