Default Pics of new Cat

So some of you may remember the iceburg story...and I said that I would take some pics of the repair so with out further adue...

I know this does not look that great- but there was a crack that went all the way around the pipe and there was about an inch of metal holding on the top. the lower portion was slightly dented (hard to tell form the pic) due to the ice damage

It actually sounds a bit quiteter, but changing the exhaust seal helped too.

Me too John. Hopefully no more ice for a while!

I have done the high flow cat on 2 of my 3.8 cars and yes I noticed at least 1mpg along with being able to "feel" the boost. but these cars were over 100,000 miles and OEM.

The flow is definitly better, and it just pisses water out the pipe, unfortunatly I had to remove the delco ICM a few days ago- as it was not working for some reason. magnavox back on for now :(

Bent how? It actually slipped into place beautifully. The whole thing just all fit together, like it was ment to be.

kink bent (no idea if thats the correct terminology) is like you have posted above...

mandrel bent is like this... no ripples... so therefore it flows better

My buddy- had actually asked me if the original one had the "kink" bend as the one he got for me was mandrel bent. Looks way better too.
