Default Oooh! Me likin these rims!!

I was looking at the Park Avenue rims. They'd probably look great on my car. I am actually thinking of a good upgrade with 16'' rims, and some decent tires.

What do you think of these???

Those are the chrome rims. My car, being a Buick, already has alot of chrome, but whats a little more to it? Price, 375 dollars US.. Pricey...

Then there are the clear coat aluminum rims, for $245. They don't look bad either. Cheaper, yes.

Remember these?
They are cheaper. Look nice too.

I'm still shopping arounds, and I really want some nice lookin rims, just need a little input. I realize this is a Bonneville club, but oh well, there isn't a better place to discuss these body style cars, with the same engine, than the Bonneville Club!

Tim go with the chromes for sure. The 97 anniversary torque stars look sweet on mine, a blend of the old with the new. Your ride would look great with the Buick cromes!

I was unable to look at that site of the chrome regal rims, because I'm at school, and the site is banned.,.... I will look when I get home.

One thing to definitly take in consideration, I really don't want an ox cart ride. Of course, I can accept some rough surfaces, but, to feel every crack and pebble in the pavement? Nah.
I was thinking of OE equivalent spring replacement, and the Sensatrac struts, and I'll have a ride similar to a modern car. Or is it the fact that the suspension is too old?

ok, back on those rims.

Hmm, still dreamin about the chrome rims! purrrrty!

A set of those chrome rims, would run me right to 1500 dollars. $1721 CAD.
Same rims, clear coating, a set = 980 dollars. $1124 CAD.
The 15 inch regal rims, 700 for a set. 803 dollars CAD.

I forgot to Credit www.wheelcollision.com
Located in Bath, PA, I was also wondering if there are taxes to pay?

The Regal chromes are nice. I however like a little exposure to my brakes, and I like exposed lug nuts.
Time to start saving my cash. 1721 just for the rims, and that doesn't even include tires!!

14 inch tires are cheap. You can get some excellent tires for that price. However, they are too skinny, and I'd like wheels and tires of those low profile performance cars, like, the newer Bonnevilles, LeSabre, Grand prix.
I have some work to do evidentally to make sure I am making the right decision, because like I said, I don't want an ox cart, and I don't want to overspend money on silly stuff like this, when the car needs a complete suspension job.

wow, 1700 bucks????? you could get your choice of aftermarket wheels for that kind of money. American racing chrome avengers would cost 1400 brand new CAD with everything. Those chromes are really nice, but my god thats a lot of money, especially for stock. IMO anyway, but definately the chromes
