well its been about time for me to change my o2 sensor for about a few years now hahaha. i'm wondering where i can exactly locate it on my 91 le and if there are multiple ones. on and if anyone would be kind enought to point me in a direction of what kind of o2 sensor i would need ( i now ac delco is the best so i plan on using that brand)

You've only got one. Stand at the front of the car, Lean waaaay over it and look directly down behind the engine. That'* it right there.

Anything but bosch....I've had my bosch in for 4 months now though and it'* still working......lol don't ask me how or why. .....but it is.

Also, to help a little in finding it. The EGR valve has a large tube going to the rear header. Follow that down. Now, keep following the header, until to find this smaller thing, with one little purple wire going to it. That'* the o2 sensor.

Have had a Boshe sensor in one car for about a year now - seems OK though MPG may have dropped slightly. Biggest issue is that it is enough longer than a Delco that it barely fits in my socket and must be removed to get the #6 spark plug out.

Make sure you have (access to) a torch and/or threading tools just in case, if you're doing it DIY.

Have heard of one (1) O2 sensor being far too difficult to remove, have never had any difficulty (more than two grunts) on any I have replaced.

Always use anti-seize and tighten like a spark plug but that is all. I do use a slotted O2 socket with about a foot of extensions but nothing special.

Now if someone in the past played godzilla with it, no doubt it would be difficult but I have been fortunate so far. Of course I also have lived in the south for thutty yar so have missed many experiences like rotted cradles and brake lines.

You could always soak it overnight in penetant like I did. Warm the car a few min. to heat the manifold then put a cold socket on it if its stuck.
My Bosch 02 on my 96 has worked well so far for about a year.
Maybe Bosch has improved them.
