Default My Bonnie is dead

i woke up today and started my car up,it was not that cool here in maine at9:30..
pulled out of driveway..drove for about 3 miles,started hearing a clunking sound,then i head a pop and then the oil light came on and no oil pressure..she wouldnt start..i smelled burned oil,sad part is it was changed 2,000 miles ago.

RIP @ 139,xxx miles

Sorry to hear that. Did you have good pressure when you started it up? How often do you check your oil level? My car will burn about 1/2 a quart in 3000 or so. How much was in the motor after she died? Did you wreck the block? Details I know....but I like to know alll the details I can to diagnose the problems at hand easier.

there is no oil pressure now..it was fine always,the oil was changed 2,000 miles before and never to my knowlegde burned any..

btw:im looking at 1989 Buick Century, to replace my bonnie..for 200$ it runs,inspection sticker,and the tranny fluid is PINK!!!CHERRY RED!!!

i dont know which caps do you mean,but the interior is black,painted..i used primer and painted it black,everything in the car pretty much works.

just the engine is toast
