And where do you propose I get a scanner? Do they rent them anywhere?

And fix what bill? I don't even know what it is quite yet or if it could just be the winter fuel. I don't have alot of money to just replace things at will. Thats why I'm asking, so that I'm not wasting money.

Also. No one has said whether Denso o2 sensors are equal or surpass delco o2 quality.

Right, if you have the ability to scan or can find the ability. (I have plenty of options here..and don't know your situation there) then you can view the O2 sensor and actually know if it'* working properly or not.

Under the current way this post is going, you might shotgun an O2 onto it and waste your money.

Test, diagnose and change/fix the broken part. If the O2 toggles slow then it is probably on it'* way out and needs to be replaced.

If we find out it'* just the winter blend of fuel..then we'll tell you to whine along with the rest of us.

First thing bro, replace that o2 sensor with a delco. They are $20 on ebay. I bought mine on there, and I think I paid 22 shipped. Bosch stuff usually causes odd problems.. so get the good sensor in there and report back. That way you KNOW you have a good sensor, and you won't have to replace it for a long time.

You can't go wrong with a Denso sensor also. They are the OEM supplier to Toyota like GM and Delco. Our 87 Supra has the original Denso sensor @ 139,000 and mileage has never dropped off.
Replace the PCV valve. Its easy and located on the intake just behind the PS pump.

Just got home. Just filled the tank. This is getting worse and worse. My last tank was...and avg of 19....god help me.
