Your mechanic is breaking stuff taking it out? Gaahhh.....
ABS is horrendously expensive to get back to OEM, at least in our era of cars.
If I were you I'd get a different mechanic and convert to a regular vacuum brake system....

ok so i got my extra abs unit out on my kitchen table (wife is not home) and im looking at it and im not sure exactly what peice your talking about... can you give me a picture of it .. if not then where exactly on the unit is it... i will gladly take it off for you and mail it right away.....

are you talking about that black plactic thing that looks like i washer.? it sits right inbetween where the resivoir tank gets bolted to the master cylinder.?
i will post up pics as soon as i can find my wire that goes from the camera phone to the pc..
