Default just curious

ok guys ive got a weird question ive got a 91 Bonneville SE and on the dash under the defrost grill i found a sensor but dont know what its for, i found it when i was looking for my keyless entry module it seems to be a light sensor but i could be wrong, its round,black with a blue dot in the center. any help will be appreciated.

I believe that is the twilight sentinel sensor. It decides when to turn the headlights on and off.

ok thanks thats what i was thinking as well. i justwanted to make sure before something happened to it while i was trying to fix the grill on the defrost the dash has some warping and i want to fix the grill before it gets broke

the keyless module is above the glove box, open the box, all the way and push the tabs in the rear forward to make it drop down all the way, then the metal plate that the box lock latches onto when closed has to be taken off, its a couple torx screws on each side and the module is the black box above it with 2 connectors on it.


but with a se do you even know if u have it, take a look at the rpo code sticker on the spare tire cover and see if one of the many 3 digit codes is AU0, if AU0 isnt there than you dont have keyless.
