Default Jackpot

Ok hit the jackpot finally found a 89 sse and exact same color at the wreckers in good shape.Me and buddy ripped some of it apart.I got cluster says 360000klm crossing fingers for DIC and compass to work (doubt it ) paid 70 bucks but if it dont work take it back. Also got, passenger door latch, maf sensor , power seat buttons and panel, new o2 sensor, gain stereo control, relays, bulbs, module for dash lighting.Im going back tomorrow thinking about getting exhaust front to back looks newish and the pipes look pretty big ,bigger than mine .What is standrd pipe exhaust size ,this one is about 1/2 " bigger, even cat looks newish. Also Ecm is in there ,what would be a good price for ,exhaust and Ecm.Anything else I should think about getting?

Wow John...
sounds like you found a good one....did it have leather? what kind of condition were the seats in?
other things to get:
marker lights if clear and no cracks
grille
DIC computer in the dash
lens assembly for marker lights in the front bumper (a pain to remove- but worth it. hard to come by in good condition

hmmm
I wish I could see the seats- there is a slight color variation between the 89 and 90. 89' uses slate grey, while 90/91 used stone grey. 89 is darker, but as you know these cars are becoming fewer as the days go on. what was the crack factor like? dirt is not an issue, I've perfected bringing leather back- but if there is cracks or water damage- no good. anyway you could take a pic the next time you go back..

Default exhaust

In CT they torch the exhaust off the car before it goes to the yard. They won't let you by that or brakes even if they are brand new.
My SSE exhaust measured about 2 3/8 dia last time I worked on it.
Kind of an oddball size just under 2 1/2.
