Throttle position switch
I have an 88 sse that i am restoring. I want to drive it all the time, but I keep running into little things her e and there to fix. This latest code to come up is 21, throttle position switch voltage too high or low for code 27. I may have that backwards. Anyway, I replaced the swich because the old one was stuck. Now my manual says I have to take it to the dealership to have it reset. I love doing stuff myself and wondered if anyone has done this and knows what tools I will need and what the specs are to set the switch to. :?:

First off, welcome to the club!
I had the same issue on a previous Bonnie: a 92 SSEi. It'* a very easy fix. Slightly loosen the two screws that hold the TPS to the TB. Rotate the TPS to the right.
You can do this with the car running while another person watches for the light to go out. Be careful of the moving parts in the engine while doing this. I used a long screwdriver to rotate it.

You'll need adigital voltmeterto tap into the signal and ground wires.
A vin C motor requires 4.2 - 4.6 volts, key on engine off, @ idle position.
Simply loosen the screws and adjust until it comes into range, then tighten her down.
