Are the spark plugs controlled by the sensor or the PCM at start? He could be gettting fuel fine, but not spark or very off spark...

I think this is enough of a problem to warrant a new 3800 Series III Supercharged out of some wrecked '04 Grand Prix... Then you would REALLY make some noise out of that tip, and kick many butts on the way anywhere..

Yes that is a very expensive place in a car, not even to replace anything, just to look at even... :( Good luck man, and if it doesn't bode well now, you could always start Shopping for the Black Light District.....(and put black lights in her!)

Were you ever able to run some pressure checks on the fuel rail ? When it does start are you getting any black smoke for a second ? If you are flooding a cylinder enough to wet a plug that will take out the companion cyl (no spark) also and make it very hard to start.

On key on you are supposed to get a two second shot from the fuel pump then it turns off until the oil pressure is above 6 psi. Any chance it does not start until the oil pressure comes up from cranking and that turns the pump on ?

You bet, when I changed the pressure regulator I had to de-pressurize the lines and the rail....lots and I mean lots of pressure.

No black smoke, and I just had the injector system professionally cleaned

I don't apply the gas when starting my car, nor does the remote starter.

I got tons of oil pressure, and that has never been a problem. So you can imagine, I can get a bit frustrated
