I think everyone has pretty much covered it already. I would just like to emphasize one thing. If you have a car payment on a car with no mechanical problems, it is still a money pit because you are throwing money at it. What is the difference if you don't have a car payment but you spend money maintaining and repairing a car? The difference is that with a newer car, the payment will be a guarentee and will probably be more than the maintanence cost on an older car. It boils down to how much you like the car and how much you are willing to spend on it. A good rule of thumb is to allow yourself to spend up to the amount of a car payment every month on your older car. Once you average more in repairs than a car payment, it is time to move on to something else.

have the fog lights installed. i bought a cheap set from walmart, and put them in the factory casing, and put the bared covers on, and they have been working for over a year now. my grandmother had a set put on her SSE, and they lasted for 4 or 5 years. so go for it.

i have no idea what the p/n was, it was over a year ago, and i dont have the box. i just took in my old light, and matched them. i took the whole assembly in. not just the bulb. i accually replaced them with driving lights, but same difference.

hey guys, as for the debate..i have had many many cars..i owned my first le when i was 18, i loveeeed the car and some ricer boy decided to take the side of it..I still have the car and am rebuilding it, because it suits me, i love the car and the car loves me... it has tonnes of mileage and i dont think i would bare to see it go..when i smashed the car..the day after i bought my sse 89 and that to...i fell in love with..I would NEVER sell these cars...not until they are officially dead..

as for the fog lights..i bought mine at canadian tire for 39.99 and they work great i just installed them today , using the original bracket assembly. the wiring was corroded and still worked...if it gives me problems. ill do a direct line into the car. they are blazertech driving lamps and they look like the originals..u can even buy the xenon bulbs for them..looks neat .
