I'm sure it'* the same pump, and I doubt that there'* that much more sound deadening stuff on an SSE.

You young punks just need to turn down your "systems" before you're all completely deaf.

Or... Has your car been undercoated?

Nope, my car isn't undercoated. I too doubt there is anything more as far as sound deadening goes between an LE and an SSE.

I really think if there were a noise, I would hear it. No doubt about it. And why are all these LE/SE guys coming in here saying they can hear it, but the SSE guys can't?

There'* gotta be something different.. can anyone pull the fuses for the electronic brake control and turn your ignition on [SSE guys that is]. See if you can hear the pump priming, relay clicking.. anything.

Also, just an added note, I don't have a glovebox installed, so if anyone could hear a relay, it would be me.

I can hear mine if the car'* parked in a garage, windows down (or door open) and flicking the key to on... harder to hear when outside, but a bit audible.
