I had never seen it before Morty had the issue. It'* a good one to keep in mind as we take it for granted.

OHH, good idea, I have not checked that!!!! Is it possible that maybe the bottle has a leak?

Also, what is the best and easiest way to clean that bottle too look like new? I was thinking about soaking it in a bleach solution.

Take the bottle off and put a rag saturated in simple green in it and shake the h*** out of it, and then remove the rag. Just be sure to flush it with a lot of fresh water.

Yeah, that'* all I used. You might have to rinse the rag out and repeat. It depends on how dirty your bottle is. Mine wasn't too bad.

i am doing my trans fluid change this afternoon, so i will inspect for leaks then....

Now that WJ is good, let'* diagnose the white one now LOL. Coolant is not leaking, and oil level is not getting higher. However, I can swear that sweet smelling exhaust is there, and every once in a while when i go from a stop light i'll burn oil. Nothing much, just a little cloud left behind me. Also I am noticing fresh oil all around the intake [where visible], and on the side of the block right off the driver'* side intake seal. I don't consume any oil between oil changes. But the temp gauge is always moving around. Sometimes at idle [more hot than cold], the temp gauge will flutter, sitting at just about 1/4 then it'* like something hits the gauge and drops down a needle'* width, then comes back up again fairly quickly. It'll do that for a while, and when I am cruising, I can notice the same thing, sometimes occuring more than others. But the gauge never goes past 1/2, even in city driving. And I've lost about 1" of coolant in the overflow bottle just this week.

The car performs very well. I've noticed perhaps a bit of loss in performance, and I did just put new plugs in. The idle is odd, but is a lot better than it has been. Cold start, revs up to 2400rpm then quickly drops to about 2k, then slowly adjusts [99% sure IAC adjustment here] down to about 1500. It will idle at 1500 for about 60 seconds, then it will find it'* way down to 1200, and once it gets up to temp she'll idle at 800. But every once in a while i'll get a 2k idle no matter the temp and if I stop and start the car again it'll smooth out shortly after start.

Now that WJ is good...please start a new thread. We'll diagnose yours seperately and cleanly from his as they could be different outcomes.
