Hopefully it didn't cost you too much, being from a shop! We just picked up a complete set of three coils on an ICM along with the mounting bracket from the local yard for $28.

Glad to hear all is well though.

it is the fuel pump i had the EXACT same problem then the fuel pump died altogether. I just replaced it yesterday. The miss on 1 and 4 just sounds like bad luck Its probably just the coil pack died too. How many miles are on the car?

how much was it? have similar prblem with 92 se. already had coils changed last year, but doing it again.... thanks

coils can and will go bad. The 1/4 coil (at least on the newer type 2 ignition) is shared. One coil fires both posts. Same with 2/5 and 3/6.
