The Reatta Club (http://www.reatta.net ) received permission from GM to put entire service manuals for 1989-1991 and the 1993 parts book online. Look under "Documentation".
BTW GM seems to have used two different alternators for 3800s: a "small frame" (spark plug wires fit under) that lasts about 24 months and a "large frame" (plug wires must route around) that lasts much longer.
