blower wont turn off

blower wont turn off

hi, first time bonnevllie owner looking for help!! just bought a 1991 bonneville se, nice car but my heater fan will not turn off, with or without key on, could that be a relay?? if so where is it at ?? thanks!!

Some blowers high speed is controlled by a relay in the maxifuse relay center. If the relay were stuck I suppose it could do this.

Not sure which relay. Search around, maybe someone has identified it before.

Does this SE have the Electronic Climate Control, with the Steering wheel controls?

yes it has climate controls on the steering wheel

I'll bet that the Blower Control Module had died and the Blower is stuck on high..

The Blower Control Module is on the passenger side of the Blower Box, Under the MAXIFUSE/RELAY center.... Follow the wires from the blower, should take you right to the Module
