First off, thank you for your quick reply. I baby my car. It'* my first car, and now I'm getting me SSEi to boot (199 = ) The car I have runs well, and I don't intend on really racing it much...just the once in a while Riceroni challenge...

I've had some work done on the car too. Dad jumped a curve with it once...no big deal, but damaged the wheel on the right side. It made a horrible noise at 45 mph. Now, this also caused another noise which, to this day, has yet to be resolved. I took it to various differeny machanics and none can find the problem. It occurs whenever to turn the wheel to the right at about ohh, 30 * ? The noise sounds squeaky-like. Bugs me to high heaven.

Now, the car has about 165,000 miles on it. It'* in great condition. But should I look into getting some of the hardware rebuilt?

Yeah. Original trans. Its really a beaut. As for the squeaky noise..I don't think its the brakes nor the struts. It occurs during accelration, whether going foward or reverse, and only when I turn the steering wheel right. I'm stumped.

Have you lubed the front end lately? I know it is basic but sometimes we forget the basics.

No, but I thought of that. Thing is, the car needed an allignment about a year and a half ago. When it came off the rack it started making that noise. I brought it back to them but they said they couldn't see anything wrong underneath. Really bolis my blood. Im going to be doing many upgrades on the car so a lube and all of taht sort will be done.
