I settled with the Prudential Insurance on Friday!
Well after something like 3 weeks I finally settled with the insurance company of the woman that hit me on 9/6. I had to play a little bit of hardball but not much. They gave me $2,600!! LoL I can't believe I actually got $100 over the $2,500 that I was looking for. I actually didn't think I was gonna get them above $2,000. Armed with 12 book different book values thats what I got.
So I already bought a new car, and after giving up on finding a good deal on a Bonnie I bought a Mercury. Its a '95 Mercury Sable with 53k which I think I got an excellent deal on ( as long as I don't get the common blown head gasket.) It paid $1,725 for it. Not too shabby!
Whatcha think about the insurance pay off?

Hehe Yeah I know Semi Bad Choice on engine. I deserve a good slap but I am aware of the 3.8 nightmares. The thing that convinced me is a '95 Sable generally runs around $2,900 around here minimum so even if I drop $1,200 on a new engine I still believe I got a deal.
