does anyone know if the 89 sse has the opt of HUD??

It doesn't, but there is a kit that you can buy from GM, its gets really pricy tho, lots of wiring and the windshield is custom for hthe HUD

There was thread about this some this early, not sure where it is tho.

Yeah some electrical engineer here worked out a way to retrofit a HUD out of a Grand Prix into his 89 Bonne. He did a short write up on it somewhere.

Before 92, the only GM car I'm aware of with HUDs was the Grand Prix.
