88 Bonne Wouldn't Start and then....fuel pump?
No problems up until today. Threw some Techron concentrate in the tank about a month ago.
Went to a meeting tonight and when I came out the car would start. Was cranking over good and it finally fired on like the 3rd try.
Started down the street and noticed it was running rough and kind of sputtering and then it just flat out died. Managed to get it started and get it home. Subsequently it has started just fine but its still running lousy especially at idle. It actually gets WORSE if I turn the wheel HARD to either direction.
I also noticed that when I turn the key to accessory and let the fuel pump prime its sounds kinda funky. I'm wondering if the fuel pump is going? You have to drop the tank to replace them don't you? I couldn't find a fuel pump access cover anywhere in the trunk so.
I don't know guys: fuel pump or vacuum leak somewhere?
:(

Sorry meant to say that after the meeting it would NOT start! Had no problems getting it to start before leaving. Around 40F tonight. I has been having problems with hard starting when its cold and its been sitting overnight. But then again its been down to -30.

could be several things, your pump could be going, the relay could be going ( you get build up on relays as they get older) or your connector for the power and ground could be going. i would start with the relay and see if you have full voltage on the pump side of the connector.
