I thought they didn't become supercharged until 1992, mines a 1991 SSE, but have been told by 2 people that is what the SSE stands for, I thought SSEi was supercharged. I always thought SSE was just the deluxe sport version of the Bonnies.
Also was advised it is keyless entry/lock but never was told or received a controller, can you buy them (I bet you can) but how would I program it?
Last I want to swap the stereo, my cd player keeps reading error, would love to keep it in there but I just dont thing it would make $$$$ sense, do most stereo shops know how to put an aftermarket stereo in where you can still use the proper contols on the steering wheel?
Thanks for your help guys.
Cheers

there is a good thread in the PERFORMANCE forum that says they are a load of BS
You can get the steering wheels to work but you need a PAC SWI-X its a controller that converts the button presses on the steering wheel into an optical signal to your aftermarket head unit. The catch is that your aftermarket deck must have a remote control capability.

You mentioned your factory cd-player reads error. Is this when you insert a cd, and it spits them back out? If so, I strongly adivse taking it apart and cleaning the laser. ALOT of dust gets built up in there, and will dirty a laser in short time. I remember when I got my cd-player, it would sometimes spit them out, and got to the point where every cd would spit out. I took it apart, and cleaned the lens. Fixed it, and it didn't skip anymore. Works very well now.
Btw, this cd-player isn't factory, its another Delco unit, from a 98 Grand Am. Plugged right in.
