Default 1989 LE Bonneville - Heater Core issues

I'm sure you guys have drilled into this one more than a hundred times, but can anyone provide some info on how I go about doing this myself. I realize there is some work with the dash coming out.

I've been able to redirect the fluid, by cutting the line and inserting a copper fitting. I'll try to post some pictures on how I did this. But anyways, any info would be great. As I can't afford the 500-800 bucks people want to do this.

Also being a new owner of my 89 Bonneville anyone have some good info on this year and series?

Thanks in advance,

You really need to pop for the $15 Chilton'* #28200. You'll feel alot better about ripping through there with a good book in one hand.

You may find that you have to replace it through the engine side, not the passenger compartment.
