Default 180 thermostat

I have been to advance and asked for this for my 88 sse and they say that there is no listing for it. Should I get one that they have that is the same size as mine or is there someplace that someone knows will have this part for my year? :?

Check another parts store. Call first to make sure before you waste that expensive gas.

You need someone who knows something to wait on you. The 180* may not be listed for your car, but just ask for a 180* Stant brand thermostat that will fit your car. An educated parts guy will be able to locate it in seconds.

If the clerk looks up a 195 (normal temp) for your car and looks at the part number it should be intuitive what the part number for the 180 should be. The part numbers are tyipcally a code of bore size and temp.
