I have sent you a PM.

Wait, ack... can't yet... not old enough :P
Well, it was listed for 7999. I think you can still find it online at autotrader.com as they haven't pulled the ad yet. I did not pay that price for it...... did a bit of creative negotiation, and Campbell Nelson helped quite a bit: (they didn't charge 200% cost on the warranty as is usual practice.) FYI: warranties are negotiable in price. When they offer you a price, you can often get it for 25% less (or more) than the price they initially quote you.
I would say just find what is a good value *for you*. For me, I did not want any projects. So, after looking around at lots of really sad looking one owner low mile pontiacs (all needing struts, shocks, bushings, brakes, had dents, etc. UGH!) I figured that a reputable dealer selling a nice *inspected* vehicle would be what I wanted. For me, the price was an excellent value. To a bargain hunter, it was perhaps in the 50-70th percentile of the price range of all SSEI'* found on craiglook.com, traderonline.com and cars.com. They would maybe have found one lower in price. But it would have needed little fixings, etc.
Hope this helps! Keep looking -- you will find the car you are looking for!

Nice find, very rare color for the SSEI trim, and it'* funny how the SSEI floor mats are few and far between, i've been looking for a grey for my 2000 SSEI when i bought my car they were missing and i see many for sale pics with them missing also... Sharp looking ride though

Hi,
The mats do come with the car. We checked shortly after our first post here. They do have the SSEI logo on them.
I got an email from the previous owner and he told me to look under the car.... Holy Cow! It was so clean under there that it looked almost like the owners before us put the car on jacks and cleaned the undercarriage by hand.....
Anyhow, thanks for the nice comments!
Might take it to the Saturday cruise - in tomorrow. All I have to do is make a plaque for it. Should be fun to whip one out, and a great day for it too. With the sun we have here I will just set up the project outside and enjoy the weather. I make signs for a living so it should be a relatively easy project.
Okay then, off to Tap Plastics to get some funky colored Lexan!
Take care,
Syn
