At least the oil cooler lines on the Aurora are accessed from underneath the car.
Word of advise, straight from a GM tech. Oil Coolers are pretty much useless. Remove it when you can. I bet this time it was done under warranty work, but next time, consider taking it out completely.

Its interesting that GM used the Same HZ designation for the GXP.. In years past GM made the SSE and the SSEi was a package that could be added to the SSE making it an SSEi... And it used the same Vin designation..
But being that they killed off the SSEi for the 04 Model year and brought the GXP into play it make sense that GM used the 1G2HZ

I have looked at a lot of diffrent oil coolers on various GM'* and have noticed that they are all on the drivers side of the radiator... I can't begin to imagine how much that hot coolant flowing out of an engine at 200F is supposed to be able to have good cooling ability on the oil.. But on the same note I have seen these very engine run as long as any 3800.. Personally If I had an oil cooler I'd prefer it to be external

Very interesting... Is it an internal cooler? And where did they bury the Trans cooler?
