Default Got board, so a few pictures

Been a while sence I posted any pictures of my car, last ones showed it all banged up from that deer. It'* all better now

I've also done a little engine work. Last night changed the pulley to a 3.4" what a chore that was. It was stuck big time. Ended up wrecking the pulley but it came off. I live next to a company that fixes electric moters, one of the guys came over and with his help it finally came off. We have to use a torch to heat it up, then it finally popped loose. He brought over a bearing heater and we heated up the new pulley and it went up a bit easier.

Still have some work to do here. My next purchase will be a PCM from intense.

I ran my scan tool on the computer after the upgrade.

The bottom left was speed, I captured the screen during an update, should have stopped the scan first.

I ran a few vertual drag strips, I know it'* not very acurate, but it'* something to compair. Before I changed the pulley I did this
60' 2.482
0 to 60 8.080
1/8 10.481
1/8 70.443 mph
1000' 13.507
1/4 16.017
1/4 90.558

After the pulley I got these numbers, These are average of a few runs

60' 2.147
0 to 60 7.416
1/8 10.284
1/8 77.669
1000' 12.911
1/4 15.384
1/4 94.825

So I did show an improvment in every area. Happy about that. Now to upgrade that PCM.

Car looks great now! Doesn't it feel better to get in it and drive when it'* all fixed up?

I was going to be a smart a$$ and ask where the board was, but then I saw the pics and realized it is a board fence. :P

Ya, been keeping my eyes open for a emblem, but havn't seen any. And yes, feel much better in a undamaged car. Before the door didn't open, the headlight didn't work, and if I hit a bump the tire hit the fender.

Sure did. I know it'* not real accurate, but I really wanted to see the difference. I like this scan tool because I can record things and look back on them to compair. Now if I can only get them to add knock retard. For the price, that would rock.

Is that dark cherry? Or is that some other dark red? Huh.

Duh, I knew that crowbar was a bad idea. Yes, we had a pulley puller. But it was so tight it would not move, we started distorting the pulley. I was afraid we would do more damage to the shaft. So we heated it up. And when it let go it was a really loud bang. We both jumped. Even then it came off hard.

Love them hood scoops.

Very impressive results from the pulley change.
Makes me want to go find my crobar and do mine!
