Heres a LT1 mounted to a 4T60.

i was just wondering because i found out the v6 in a firebird is basicly the same as the one in a base bonnie. just figured if they had the same pattern someone with way more money and time then me could put a ls1 in a bonnieville.

Likewise. I had an LT1 in a 94 Buick Roadmaster. Even with the gearing in that car, it would MOVE.
Now imagine taking the motor out of that tank and putting it in a bonneville? I think it'* a winner.

Don't get me wrong, I think the LT-1 is a good engine. I just think the lighter L67 is a better application for a Fiero. Also, we cannot forget the L67'* torque #'* are way underrated. Don't know if the LT-1 is underrated as well. I ran a 93' Trans Am with nothing but a gutted air box at a track. From 0-60 I had him by 3/4 of a car, held there until 90ish, and then he walked past me. They def have more topend than a L67.
