i need help on an custom intake
hey guys i need help to build a custom intake,i made my self one but i dont know if its good or not.ill try to post pics of my custom intake,please help.

well you know thee tubes they sell either in pepboyz or kragen or autozone,well,i bought 3 pieces to make my custom intake and then i bought a ricer filter thats made out of fome and is completely circle.and my "box" was made out of cardboard covered with foilpaper.

Ok, the chromed plastic is one of the worst tube materials you can use.
The ricer filter is probably the worst possible filter, and is probably restricting your flow. Fill it with water. I bet it holds it. Some have been tested here in the past.
Get the Autozone aluminum ricer pipe and a K&N filter. Get rid of the cardboard and foil, and use plexiglass or acrylic for your shield. Use the cardboard and some tape only to make your template from in order to cut the plexi.

dam,iput my stock intake setup and it actually works better than my custom intake.that just tells me one thing,i suck at custom *#!t.im trying to do one were i move the canister out of the way and put it threw there,what do you guys think?or wat intake setup should i put on my car?

Your failure wasn't technical. Your failure was in component selection. You used the worst possible PRODUCTS.
Do a search on 'rice pipe' on this Forum. Then put a REAL K&N filter on it, then build a custom heat shield.

do what i did read a lot here and look at the photo there lots .And the best filter is a kn4750 and so on make it as straight as possible and you will see a difference and ask question if youre not sure
