I just bought a 2001 SE and I want to do a CAI, 180 Thermostat, and colder plugs. My main question. Will I see a noticable difference if I swap the PCM. Mainly in torque or the way the car pulls or accelerates.

Welcome to the club first off!

Most standard PCMs will provide some added pep but they help make the most of existing mods.

Please add your year and model into your signature via the "Profile" link in the upper right of the screen.

Welcome Overkillzone.

The answer to your question is yes. I did the Intense upgrade and I am still pleased with the results. The GetUpAndGo was increased and noticible. Here is a link to my posting.
