3.5 pulley= marginal gaines
Yessterday Nate (LakevilleSSEi) and myself went to a guys house from mncgp to replace my coupler and install the 3.5". Last night when it was cold out it seemed considerably quicker. However, now that its warm I went for a 40 mile drive and at the end it seemed about like stock. Another thing is, does the 3.4 have much over the 3.5 in terms of hp, tq? I couldn't imagine it being even noticable.
BTW, thanks Nate and the guys from mncgp for making this possible.

You'll probably get a 1lb of boost more from the 3.4 and maybe around 5 or 10 HP. However, that extra 1lb can give you some serious KR if your car isn't set up for it.
Also, even with the 3.5, you could be seeing some KR which contributes to the power loss you may feel.

you should probably consider investing in a CAI and some new plugs, among other things that go with a general tuneup. Some Top Engine Cleaner will help you out too.

Give the car about a week for the PCM to learn and the car will probably do better. You are probably seeing some KR which is why it feels slower. Also, it is probably quicker than it was before, but since you put the pulley down and it was cold it was faster, and now it warmed up and you might be seeing some/more KR and its slower so since your used to what it did after the pulley you think its slower than it was before. (hopefully that makes sense to you)
Put on a CAI, colder plugs, t-stat, and maybe a DHP and you should probably kill most of your KR and the car should feel much quicker.

I'm also thinking about the fact that I gapped my NGK TR55'* at 0.60 insted of 0.55 like I should. Nate gapped his at 0.60 but forgot the fact that he has intake & exaust. I don't. My only supporting mods are: NGK TR55'*, 180 t-stat, and gutted air box w/ K&N drop in filter.
