Knight Fire Tuning @ the track....
Hey guys..... just finished the TTs tonight at the track.
Knight Fire isn't running 100%.....
She'* getting 14.2s easy.... but with the 3.0 pulley, 42# injectors and SS IC she should do better.
I'm using the mini AFC tuned to 95%, as per Rogue'* instructions.
I don't have the ability to upload the XLS file at this time... but I can give you some basic info... maybe you could help me tune KF a bit better.... because to be completely honest I'm a bit lost.
This might be kinda hard to read....
KR | A/F | IPW | O2 | MAF | RPM
0 | 11.8 | 11.96 | 951 | 2185 | 3260
0 | 10.8 | 16.85 | 955 | 9830 | 4567
2.2 | 10.7 | 16.4 | 968 | 9267 | 6012
0 | 10.8 | 16.97 | 959 | 9429 | 4489 (shift into 2nd)
0 | 10.7 | 17.49 | 946 | 9765 | 4801
0 | 10.6 | 17.29 | 942 | 10103 | 5306
5.7 | 10.5 | 16.65 | 929 | 10036 | 5674
4.9 | 10.6 | 17.32 | 938 | 3152 | 4599 (shift into 3rd)
If I went to 96% that would be richening it up.... correct?
... and 94% would be making it "leaner" (if that'* a word)
I currently have the AFC tuned for 95%.... should I go to 94% or 96%?
Based on that data.... what would you guys suggest?
I'm hoping Rogue or Foghorn will chime in on this one...
PS-Foghorn... Stingray says "Hi"

Your 02s look great, I think your right on for fueling. However your MAF drops off towards the top of third. You should always push MORE air the higher in the rpm band you go. Possible problems could be belt slip, or restriction in airflow/exhaust. With the IC you may be able to lean it out a bit but I wouldnt go more than 1% on the AFC either direction. There is a lot of data your missing in the 300rpm between no knock and 5 degrees. What scanner ar eyou usuing?

That'* an abreviated scan for sure...
As Rogue says, the O2s are fine if not a tad rich. You didn't include the Timing Advance values, since you have some KR at the top of 2nd gear and beyond I wouldn't consider leaning it out any just yet. Target O2 values should be in the 920 to 940 range when there is no KR present. My car will run fine at 880 and less with 0 KR on either the 3.0" or 2.8" pulleys.
Definately something to look at whether the SC belt is slipping or if you're just boost stacking at some point, probably more likely. Are you using the stock exhaust manifolds? What sort of intake do you have?
Post up that log file when you have the chance.
Cheers,
