Throttle Body Spacers
How does a throttle body spacer help out? I have noticed a few bonneville owners have this. where do you get them and how hard is it to install? Thanks.
Maybe turtle could help me out on this one since I remember his name specifically and noticed his car had it.

Essentially the spacer insulates the heat-producing intake manifold (or Supercharger) from the air temp sensor. This allows the computer to read a cooler air temp, thus enriching your fuel/air mixture.
This helps a bit at WOT.

Well.. the TB spacer is suppose to put more room between the TB and the intake plenum.. therefore supposeidly cooling the air down. IT'* also used if you want NOS and don't want to drill into your TB. However.. I"ve been hearing and know of a lot of GP guys having a lot of problems with the spacer.. something to do with the gasket not being right, and blowing off into the intake reeking havoc inside the engine .
