Royal Purple????
I didn't know where to post this so sorry if it'* in the wrong forum. Was wondering if anyone has tried any products by a company called Royal Purple? I read an article today in the local Performance Improvement magazine and thought it sounded interesting.

They've always seemed legit to me. Like Lucas. When the big boys back them, there is some value.
Stay away from Zmax products. It'* colored mineral oil, and it breaks down quickly in the different systems (trans, engine, coolant). The FTC has been trying to shut those sheisters down for some time.
I'm going to move this to Performance for you, but I'll leave a shadow topic so you know where it went

Doh! Sorry about the repost.... I was thinking about trying the synthetic oil. Not for more hp, but just to try it out. I already use Mobil 1 synthetic in both Bonnevilles since i've owned them.

Mobil1 is always the safe bet. But on the higher-mileage cars, a synthetic blend might be better. Then again, it might not.
Is that clear enough?
Just gotta try. If things look good the first batch, keep it up.
