Default Exhaust manifolds

How well will series II work on a series I motor? Can they be modified to fit?

O........O.........O

This is not totally correct, just an example.. But the exahust ports are in a bit of a diffrent location... Where as the 3800 II engines have exahust ports spaced the same distance apart from eachother... I would like to have a set of Tubular manifolds on my 95 like I have on the 91 though... Those tubular manifolds ( Factory so so headers in my opinion) have a sound all their own... don't even sound the same as 3800 II powered car... The 88-94 bonnevilles just sounded better... Oh well
You're making me cry...

Yeah if memory serves its actually on the far sides that they don't match up. Series 1 goes - Exhaust-intake exhaust-intake intake-exhaust. Series 2 goes - Exhaust-intake exhaust-intake exhaust-intake. So its really the last chamber on each head that doesn't match up. Looks more like

0....0.......0 vs.
0....0....0

Here'* something though, is there a difference in exhaust design from supercharged to n/a? I read on GM'* webpage that (at least the newer) n/a and */c share the same heads. But for performance I would think that */c got a beefed up exhaust. Possible but I dunno. Anyone have an idea?
