I routed my "ram air" like this, no need to pull the bumper, You'll need to pull back the heavy cloth though.

i did it without pulling the bumper too, it'* just easier to show the path if the bumper is out of the way.

You WILL need to remove the canister if you're going thru there, not an easy thing but you could mount it a little higher.
