I had the foam tape before, but I switched to a product that looks like bubble wrap covered in aluminum foil. It works alot better than the foil tape. If someone can help me out with the name, I know you can get it at Lowes.

found it! Its called reflectix, a roll will be enough for at least one full heat shield

One roll will do a few heatshields. I used that 3 years ago to wrap my pipe and make shielding.
