X2.

But I have a question. Is that filter waterproof? Would it be able to hold up to the elements of driving on the road? What prevents it from being destroyed with little rocks, possibly dirt, and water?

I didnt take a pic of it but there is a flat plastic piece the thickness of say.. the inner fender well. that is protecting it. it has some "air holes" in it.

You noticed the extra 'volume' of the intake, sounds great doesnt it

Good job and nice pic series.

I have had mine for a few months now and the filter is still clean living under there, it is pretty well protected with the valance tray.

Gumball:
Nice write up with Pics. This mod is coming but I want to do the strut tower brace first.

just dont try to ford any rivers now. Not that you should with any other kind of intake either.
