I have a welding friend who can do your high flow cat install. Most shops around here charge an arm and a leg. Just go out and get a quote. This friend of mine welds for free or a couple bucks. We just hang out and have him weld things while we mod more stuff.
I'd be willing to help get that powerlog install going. We should install that and take the 3.5" pulley to PRJ Performance. He'* only upwards of 40 minutes away from my house, and he tunes and does a lot of crazy stuff for pretty much nothing. $50 for the first hour and $25/hr after that. People say you shouldn't run a 3.5" without supporting mods, and while it'* true, he can make sure you won't get KR with the 3.5. Visit prjperformance.com, send him an email, and see about a time when you/we can swing by over there.

Just as proof that exhaust shops around here are hideous, my dad just took my car while I was asleep in the morning and drove it out to Car-X to have them repair the exhaust. A section had come undone because I had just clamped it on. They put on an all-new catback for $700 and tossed aside the exhaust parts I already had on there. And they also put on smaller piping - 2.25 instead of 2.5. Time to leave Indiana. Coming?

Nice to meet you guys. Let me know when you get together again, I'd like to meet you and learn a few things about my car(01 SSEi). I live just up the road in Kokomo. Thrasher performance is just 5 minutes from my house and I hear they have really good mods for 3800s. See ya.

Thrasher is great! You're also about an hour away from PRJ Performance and up to 3 hours away from both ZZP and Intense. Quite the location. We should absolutely hang out and mod cars together. I'm going to be installing speakers in my 99 this week if you want to come by and watch or help cut door panels.
Also, all Indiana dudes please join Indy Club Grand Prix if you have not yet done so. Then we'll be able to arrange meets with Grand Prix and Regal guys as well.
