Any tips on adjusting parking brake cable on 91 Olds 88 Royale?
Hey everyone! I have finally been able to get outside and work on my car getting it ready for summer. For several years now, my parking brake has not really worked too well, it doesn't seem to hold after I depress the pedal, but it will stay in the down position. However I can easily lift up on the pedal itself with my hand and it goes back up, without even using the release lever. So today I went to inspect underneath the car to check to see how everything looks and I found the parking cable adjuster right underneath the driver side door, so I used WD-40 and cleaned it up and found that it seems to have a little too much slack even when I depress the parking brake. So how do I adjust this, because I think that may be all I need to do to get it working again?? Thanks!

It'* probably frozen with rust. It would be less of a headache to just have it replaced.
