Default 1999 Bravada Heater Fan VS Relay

Hi Everyone,

For my 1999 Bravada, 4.3:

1. I heard some ticking behind the glove compartment that sounded like a "tick-a-tick-a-tick-a" fan blade or bearing failing - but when I checked, all I saw was wiring and what looked like a relay - should something be changed out? Please see the attached thumbnail. Thanks.

2. I caught the bottom of the driver'* seat plastic interior trim panel with my shoe on the way out of the car and shattered it into three pieces. I'd like to know if there are places out there that sell aftermarket trim, and if so, where? I'm kind of leery about it, because a couple new flip-light mirror inserts for the visors came brand new with the car, and one is already crumbling because of the age of the plastic.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

Regards,

Maitai

1. Put your hand on the relay, and if you feel the clicking, first try swapping out the relay with another one...if same problem, then you could have a connection problem at the relay, or one of the circuits to the relay is a problem...

Next step is to identify the relay and it'* related circuits...

2. Junkyard....

Thanks Tech II! I'll check things out and let you know how things work out... its probably about time I take a trip to the junkyard for the first time...

Many thanks
