Now that we are after the Christmas season, is there any hope of the XBOX 360'* price coming down? Any time soon?

The packages have gotten cheaper, now you can get a pro with 2 games for 350.. instead of dropping the price, they have packages with essentially free games

Any price drop isn't going to be a huge one either. The console isn't even halfway into it'* lifecycle yet.
If you want it so bad (like all the threads you post on it suggest) suck it up and buy one :-p

besides, its still cheaper than the ps3, and unless the ps3 starts to blow them away in sales, i wouldnt expect a price drop in quite some time

if its within a week you can usually get a refund.
just get a nice gaming PC... more flexible, and the graphics can own a 360 if you want to put a little money into it...
