Wireless routers?
Time to make the switch, considering I have a printer, laptop, and palmtop all wireless capable.
Who has what brand, what are your preferences, which is the simplest setup, and what are your tested ranges?

bought a d-link DI-614+ 802.11b router and pcmcia card for my laptop as a package deal on ebay 3 years ago and its worked great ever since...
have 3 ppl pulling off me right now and im hooked directly...
there have been times its gone offline...but the 10 sec power off fixes that...
range is not as far as others, but it depends on teh house... our first yr apt couldnt make it through 2 walls... last year was perfect signal throughout the apt, and this year, i have signal in any room and outside in a 4 bedroom house...
personally i would get a linksys 802.11g router...unless there is better technologoy that i dont know of yet...

linksys here. the access point has performed flawlessly all the time my neighbor has had it <maybe a year>. only complaint i have about it is the range. it will do about 50 feet, into our house, from his house.

i had the linksys wireless g as well...it was great. I'm not sure the distance or the feet, but the router was in my room on one side of the house, and upstairs and on the totally opposite side of the house from me my dad was able to get signal from is computer. I had a lil' trouble setting it up at first, but customer service was very good and walked me through everything with ease

Currently I still have a Linksys B router I bought a few years ago. Reliability is great, and the distance for me was outstanding. I remember taking my laptop down the street and still being able to surf the net
