My supper for tonight has been cooking since last night, I have veggie soup/beef stew concoction.

It has corn, celery, potatoes, onions, peas, some bottom round roast I cubed/dredged in flour, then sautéed in olive oil, also has salt/pepper/garlic powder, I added some veggie and beef stock, only thing is I forgot my organic carrots and bay leaf, but it is smelling so good I probably not miss them.

LOL. I was asked to leave the chow hall at Hurlburt Field in the fall of 2002, seems the AF didn't allow "my kind" to eat in their chow halls.

Tonight: carryout pizza as my wife and I both got off work exhausted and neither of us wanted to cook.

However I have some delightful plans for homemade enchiladas later this weekend.

Hmmm, no more chow hall for me. Though I do miss the breakfast.

Tonight I had Perogies at the local bar along with a bunch of beer. Had quite the conversation with Amanda the bar owner'* girlfriend. She'* a classy lady along with the rest of them. So, I'll leave her be....for now.

" Perogies at the local bar "

Where they homemade? Nice to see bars selling something more than nachos.... Did you also have pickled eggs with the perogies?
