Today'* random car fact.
Interesting little tidbit of info - Apparently back when the 3.1 mated to the Automatic trans was debuted in the Cavalier, People complained about its low end torque when passing, apparently around 35-40mph, when you WOT to pass, it would slighty "EEK" the tires.

Hmmm back in the day they had the 3T40, but there were diffrent gear ratios...
In the later years, that 30-40 chirp was bad on the 440-T4 Trans, as most of the 3.1'* were attached to the GX3 3.33 Ratio trans... You could lite em up on call with the 3.33
