I went to autozone earlier today to get some antifreeze for my STE (the radiator core rotted out, so I just got the radiator rebuilt and installed it earlier today, so I was buying coolant to fill it up with). When I was pulling out of autozone there was an Evo with the big huge wing and a fart can on it. It may be quick, but IMO it looks like ***, and that one even sounded bad, not to mention that it had stickers all over the trunklid. (although I can't say that I've heard a good sounding 4 cylinder) As soon as I saw it I shook my head and thought, stupid rice. I do have to admit, they are pretty quick cars, but if I were in the GTP and got the chance I would definately enjoy showing them that there are cars that are quite a bit quicker out there, not to mention faster. In one of our Turbo GP'* it would be good to race one from a 20mph roll, it would be a pretty good race. If you get rid of their AWD advantage you can keep up pretty easily. Without their AWD they would be considerably slower. Any car can run fast if they can drop the clutch at 7000 rpms and have the tires stick.

If you take away AWD, they'd trap out about 2-3mph higher than they normally do (103-105mph) since it'll weigh less and less drivetrain loss. What does that GTP have to trap as high as an EVO? I'm guess it probably is some internal work (cams, rockers ect..) done. Fast time
EVO is still not rice, unless of course, you drive a 12 second stock car I-4 engines sound like *** without a Turbo. A turbo is a restriction and actually makes the exhaust noise deeper. F-4'* on the other hand, growls like there is no tomorrow.

As far as I know, only the GSR'* got the AYC (Active Yaw Control). The North American model is essentially the RS, which is more like the stripper model... :?:
