I could honestly care less about HIDs.
As far as HUD goes.... Don't really care there either. If I like the car, HUD will make no difference whatsoever :?
I have seen one in person, and to me, it just seems to be to tall and skinny :? I will however wait untill I test drive one to make my final opinion

After having a HUD i will never go back
and i don't like the design of the rear end, it looks like it needs something more in the rear, its just a huge blank space with a license plate and small brake lights

6. GT and regular version look the same 95%....they should separate the v8 more from the v6. look what they did with the 05 Bonneville
7. No panoramic roof option (aka G6) That would be sick on any car
I guess when they come to the dealer next month (they say they are getting one for potential owners to test drive, not to sell) , and after I test drive one I will have more complaints.
There is a lot that I like about them though, but a lot that I dont....If they are reliable and mods become available I may get one in a few years once they drop under $20,000

2. Heated rear seats? This isn't an *-class... Would be nice what about cooled fronts
3. There will be a manual within a year or two WITH IN 6 months of release
4. HUD isn't the best thing under the sun... Some people will miss it, but if someone'* not buying this car because of the HUD. that is an opinion your opinion you might be surprised
5. The SSEi/GXP was well into the 30'* price range when it was out, and it wasn't even close to being a class leader in performance, or quality.
It'll be reliable, it'* the Gen IV or V architecture in the V8, and a proven v6 engine. GXP wont have an LS6 as it'* no longer produced by GM, it'll most likely be a verson of the LS3 with 430ish HP in the '08 Vette. The Vette always gets the engine before the other cars (F Body, GTO, etc)
It'* a much more upscale interior, much better performer, and costs the same... It'* not a direct replacement for the Bonneville, it'* a new direction for Pontiac.

Every caddy might be equipped with them, but MOST of GM'* lineup doesn't have the option. The car can have them in other countries, and changing projectors for US vs ROW is easy. Damn near any car over $25k should have the option, and IMO every car over $30kish should be std. It'* a HUGE improvement over halogens.
