Cant waste the extra money on synthetic. She would be paying like ten dollars extra between oil changes and at min wage she cant afford that. Plus we put penzoil high mileage in it and the first quart burned in like 200 miles but since then it has been about 1000 miles and it has only burned like a 1/4 quart of oil so I know its better now then it was.

It doesnt even make it to 3k between because im obsesive about that. unlike my uncle who has a 96 crown vic and hasnt changed the oil in 50k mile. he read an article that taxis had oil changed or not changed at three thousand and the results didnt differ any.

I love my WJ, but I hate Chrysler (and moreso DaimlerChrysler) products.
Seems that they really put the items that can fail in tough places to get to. Radiator, Starter, Heater Core.
Some things are beautiful, tho... anything around the steering column, gauge cluster, radio, center console, oil changes, brakes.
I think I'm going back to ford after this. The bronco'* has had less issues, besides rust.

my friend here has one very clean 97 whit the engine knocking he can't sell it even at 300$ and no scarp yard around montreal got a good 2.7 for sale so he stuck whit it

Yep my mechanic bought a 2003 loaded intrepid with the 2.7 for $500.00 clogged with sludge. He put a 3.2 or 3.5 in it as a replacment. Too bad toy cant do that with the smaller cars.

The sludging problem wasn't SOLVED, they just made it less bad. It'll still be an issue.
BTW, all the LH type cars are turds. The only thing Mopar did well between 94 and 03 was the Viper and the Avenger/Sebring coupe (which was really a stretched Eclipse).
