did some major cleaning today.. and work under the hood
new water pump
new plugs & wires
if you are wondering why the other strut brace is not in place, one of the bolts is snapped off and i didnt get around to getting a removing yet...

its still not running 100%... but its reliable now that i got the coolant under control
its not peppy like it should be... there is a major dead spot in the RPM'*.. when it downshifts around the 4-5K range the engine roars.. but it does not squeak the tires off the line at all... i need to look more into that.. plugged cat? new fuel filter?
there is also somewhat of a tick, almost sounds like an injector pulse, yet to be determined... it has no coded stored

oh ya.. i forgot that the stock cd player works perfectly..

Sounds about typical for a DOHC engine. Most northstars are gutless until they get over 3,500 RPM too. They're a totally different breed of engine. They're made to rev high and rev high often.

Jim W'* 'rora had less than my 93 off the line, but it made up for it very quickly. That powerband is fun though...
I'd say keep it, although hopefully you never have to change the alt. Judging from the trunk pic, it'* been done recently...
